Ambiguous date and time formatsIn the Ambiguous formats dialog, specify which potentially ambiguous formats copy2calendar should recognize when analyzing textual data. A date or time format is considered potentially ambiguous when it cannot be distinguished
It is advisable to select only the date and time strings actually required for recognizing data from your sources. Example: If you want to recognize the date string 12-05-09 as either format YY-MM-DD or format DD-MM-YY, copy2calendar will ask you how to interpret the date each time an ambiguous interpretation is found.
American/European date orders With Set to defaults for..… you can set the list of recognized formats to several sets of default configurations. This will allow you to correctly interpret date specifications like 12-05-2009, which have different meanings in the US and Europe.
